The MoiChef Knife Set includes four ultra-sharp, ceramic knives and a beautiful knife stand to store and display them. Each knife is of varying length and lends itself to different uses. The colorful handles make each knife easy to recognize.
I am fairly new to ceramic knives, but they have quickly become some of my favorite knives to use. The material makes for an incredibly sharp and lightweight knife. These white blades won't rust and they are more hygienic than stainless steel. White sheaths are included with this set to protect each knife if you keep them in a drawer. This set also comes with a knife block you can choose to use for storage. The knife block is quite unique and allows you to really showcase the knives, in addition to providing a place to store.
This set comes with four important kitchen knives: a 3" paring knife, a 4" fruit knife, a 5" utility knife, and a 6" chef knife. Each knife has a brightly colored handle that makes it easier to identify while prepping food. In addition to being colorful, the handles are also comfortable to grip and use for a long period of time.
I love using these knives to prep fruit, vegetables, and boneless meat. I especially like using the larger knives to slice and dice onions, carrots, and other commonly used ingredients. The paring knife and fruit knife are fantastic for slicing citrus, garlic, peppers, and more. Since ceramic comes from glass, there are a few ingredients that you should still use your stainless steel to cut. I recommend sticking with a heavy knife to get through frozen foods or bone-in meats. You should also avoid smashing any food on the side of the blade including garlic cloves.
This is a great knife set for anyone who has never tried their hand with ceramic knives. Whether you are beginning cook or seasoned chef, you will find these knifes extremely useful in everyday cooking.
