Whether you consider yourself a gourmet cook, home cook, or something in between, quality cookware is essential. The Swiss Diamond Kitchen Essentials Set really is for anyone. Its patented diamond-reinforced nonstick coating makes food slide off easily and the cast aluminum ensures the heat is spread consistently, which eliminates hot spots. This 9-piece set includes an 8-inch Fry Pan, 10.25-inch Fry Pan with lid, 2.2-quart Saucepan with lid, 3.2-quart Sauté Pan with lid, and 5.5-quart Soup Pot with lid.

I prefer eating a hearty breakfast in morning so that my stomach doesn’t growl at 10 am. The Swiss Diamond 8-inch Fry Pan is a great size for making my one (or two) eggs. It’s big enough to hold them, but not too big to be overwhelming. This 8-inch pan is a good size for sautéing vegetables and cooking single-serving stir-fry dishes. Out of all of the pieces of cookware in this set, I get the most use out of this fry pan.

The Swiss Diamond 10.25-inch Fry Pan is a little bit bigger than the other fry pan and comes with a lid. The clear lid makes it easy to check on your food without letting air in or out of the pan. This pan is big enough to make family-sized portions, and the nonstick coating means you don’t have to use as much oil or butter when cooking. That’s a plus when you’re trying to cook healthier.

I love making sauces and macaroni and cheese in sauce pans, but I don’t enjoy scrubbing the food out after it hardens. That’s why the Swiss Diamond 2.2-quart Saucepan with lid is amazing. The food slips out of the pan easily, making clean up so much easier! All of the Swiss Diamond nonstick pans are dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended. Basically, hand wash if you can, but if it’s “one of those days,” you can throw them in the dishwasher.

My favorite part of the Swiss Diamond 3.2-quart Sauté Pan with lid is the steam valve. Instead of taking off the whole lid, you can let out steam with a twist of a handle. This is so convenient and will really make your food better.

The final product in the Swiss Diamond 9-piece cookware set is the 5.5-quart Soup Pot with lid. I love making homemade soups, and this large pot is perfect for it. I can make a large batch and freezer some for another day. A soup pot is one of my new favorite pieces of cookware, and this Swiss Diamond model is of high quality that I can get on board with.
