Strawberry Gelato
Searching for a gelato recipe for that Fourth of July Party? Strawberry Gelato is a fun and delicious treat to cool down this summer. Everyone loves an ice cream summer social, but this recipe could be a new one to try out this year!
Ingredients
- 1 pint ripe strawberries
- 1 cup water, very hot
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
Instructions
- Wash and hull strawberries. Puree strawberries in blender.
- Heat water until very hot. Remove from heat and add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Set aside to cool.
- Combine strawberry puree with cooled sugar syrup, lemon juice, and orange juice.
- Freeze until firm.
