I had never used bacon with cabbage before but the gorgeous flavor of the bacon elevates the cabbage to something really special so it is definitely worth remembering that. We really enjoyed this Haluski and the chicken is a lovely accompaniment. I am going to try the haluski wen next we have a barbecue and see how that works out.

Cabbage is not my favorite thing but I love bacon and chicken. I know cabbage is good for me so why not eat it this way! I like German cooking and I'm definitely going to try this one. I also like one pot cooking during the week so this is a perfect idea.

I had been trying to hunt down a German food truck, but I made this Haluski myself instead! Every time I said cooked cabbage to my family, they said no thanks, but I sneaked this one past them and they loved it!
