I have heard of Figgy pudding but I have never heard of toffee pudding. This looks very interesting and could work as a good replacement from the dull and boring rice pudding that my Grandmothers have made for years at Thanksgiving. I am gonna give it a try this year and shock them.

Oh really? Do you think you will see this Sticky Toffee Pudding at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? I can imagine this is really yummy with no less than Queen Elizabeth , Princes William and Harry and Kate Middleton enjoying this sinfully yummy dessert.

Have never made a cake just like this but it certainly looks lucious. Definitely a company dessert that would impress the most fussy eaters. Looks beautiful with the whipped cream topping and mint. Love the addition of the dates to make it really special. I hope I can make it look just like the picture and taste as good as it looks.

I love toffee! The dates in the cake are an unexpected, but nice surprise. They add some sweetness and a nice texture to the cake. I don't know that I would call it a pudding cake. To me, that sound like a dessert that is baked so there is a pudding layer and a cake layer and this dessert calls for making the sauce separate.
