Swedish Meatballs
"Do you remember the first time you had really good Swedish meatballs? Maybe your mom or Grandma made them for you, or maybe you had them at a church potluck. I remember mine. It was at my great great aunt Sally’s farm outside of Turtle Lake, North Dakota. Even as a young child I remember thinking that food can’t taste better than this. I love meatballs. Swedish or other kind. These are pretty simple to make. I did use the extra ground beef and pork instead of veal. Veal is pricey and not too easy to find around here. I don't think they need to be served with anything. I'd pick mashed potatoes over noodles though.

I love Swedish Meatballs but have never had much success making them. The meatballs were always dry and tough, and the sauce was too thick. Thankfully this recipe is so simple and easy to follow and the results are truly the best Swedish Meatballs I have ever tasted, let alone made. My family absolutely loved them.
