Ingredients
- 2 cups stale bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup scalded milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions

Soak bread crumbs in milk and melted butter.

Add egg yolks and beat well.

Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar and blend in liquid mixture.
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and drop mixture by spoonfuls on a greased, hot griddle.
