Beyond Easy Beefy Rigatoni

Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) box rigatoni
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan, plus extra if desired
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 1 (26-ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups broccoli (fresh or frozen)
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile, in large bowl, beat egg. Add beef, salt, pepper, garlic, bread crumbs and Parmesan.

Place mixture in skillet and brown. While browning, steam broccoli in the microwave until tender crisp (about 3 minutes 30 seconds for fresh broccoli).

Once meat is browned, stir in marinara sauce. Simmer 3-5 minutes. Drain pasta.

Drain broccoli. Mix pasta with sauce and broccoli gently. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan before serving if desired.
