Creamy Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese
This has to be the creamiest, most wonderful southern baked macaroni and cheese recipe around! My nana used to make it all the time, and all us grandkids would feast on it with her homegrown tomatoes on the side. Mmm-mmm!

Ingredients
- 2 cups small curd cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- garlic salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 7 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- paprika (optional)
- buttered bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, garlic salt, and pepper.
- Add cheddar cheese; mix well.
- Add macaroni and stir until coated.
- Transfer to a greased 2½-quart baking dish.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350F degrees for 25-30 minutes or until heated through.
- Sprinkle with paprika if desired.

Is this person being picky? How difficult is it to convert 1 c. to 8 ozs.? Come on. Do a little thinking for yourself.

Instead of giving ingredient measurements as one or 2 or 3 cups full why dont you give the amount in ounces as you would other ingredients. This way I can know how much of that product I have to purchase. Thank you
