One Pan Cheesy Smoked Sausage Pasta
"My whole family loved this dish - with the BIG move happening I am trying to cook dishes FAST that I can easily reheat for leftovers! I am going to be adding this recipe into my full rotation of meals --- what I love is that I can easily change it up as the seasons change --- or adding different meats as they come on sale!"

I like to use the low - fat chicken sausage for this recipe. It has a lot less fat and seems to be less salty than a traditional pork smoked sausage or kielbasa. I would use the reduced sodium chicken broth as well, since you are already getting saltiness from the cheese and canned tomatoes. I love that it is truly a one pot dish!

A one dish or one pan meal is always such a bonus in any busy home. This recipe is very good and the only change we made was to add a sweet red pepper (because we had one that was ready to eat today). The red pepper flakes dial the flavor up a notch (the man of the house added a bit more than the recipe calls for) and altogether it is a very yummy dish. AND only one pan to clean, YAY!
