One-Pot BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pasta
The best recipes only dirty one dish, and this One-Pot BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pasta is one of them. This recipe is great for leftover chicken, but you can also cook some up the day of and still keep this to a single dirty dish. Chicken, bacon, and barbecue sauce combine for a delicious and easy weeknight meal. While barbecue sauce may throw some people off, it adds a subtle sweet and smoky flavor to the pasta without being overpowering. This pasta is full of delicious cheese and protein, but would also taste great with your favorite vegetables thrown in.

This is a great little recipe that does allow for a lot of experimentation. I'm curious what the original writer of the recipes uses for the BBQ sauce. My wife and I are fairly partial to some of the Sweet Baby Ray's sauces, and I'm wondering what other ones people have tried and liked. There's a veritable wall of BBQ sauces at our local Kroger and I'm open to recommendations besides our usual Sweet Baby Ray's.

I love how easy this dish is and how you can change up the veggies like the other reviewer mentioned. What a fun idea to make barbecued chicken and add it to pasta. And of course, there's bacon. I will add some chopped zucchini, fresh out of my garden!

I made this recipe with pork instead of chicken. It was absolutely wonderful! I loved the flavors in this pasta. I also loved the fact that I could add any veggies I wanted. I made this with some broccoli and cauliflower that I had on hand. It was excellent! The next time, I might try some spinach. This is a great recipe to get a great tasting dinner that is also a healthy dose of veggies!
