Grandma's Sweet Potato Pie
"When Grandma would make Sweet Potato Pie during Thanksgiving it would always be the best. Everyone said so. I tried different variations but none came close. Grandma's Sweet Potato Pie was and still is the best. It is always a perfect blend of sweet, creamy and spiced just right. The crust is a delicious homemade crust, although you could use a store-bought one if you prefer. I promise you though, this crust recipe is the easiest."

- 5 eachs Medium Sweet Potatoes
- 13 tablespoons Butter, divided
- 1 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Iced Water
- 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 2 eachs Large Eggs
- 3 tablespoons Heavy Cream
- 2 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
