Creamy Onion Smothered Pork Chops
This dish - tender pork chops drenched in a thick, creamy sauce - preserves steakhouse taste without sacrificing time or money. These pork chops are prepared in the microwave, which can be one of the most delicious ways to cook pork chops.

Ingredients
- 4 tenderloin chops
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can full of milk
- 2 teaspoons beef bouillon
- 2 tablespoons A1 sauce
- 1/4 cup parsley
Instructions
1. Slash edges of pork chops. Combine flour and sage. Dredge chops in flour. Place in casserole with tenderloin inside. Top with onion. Whisk soup, milk, bouillon, steak sauce and remaining flour until smooth. Pour over chops, coating all.
2. Cover and microwave at 30% for 15 min. Turn and rearrange chops and push beneath sauce. Cover and microwave 15 more min. at 30%, then let stand for 10 min. Skim off excess fat and serve.

I made this the first time according to the recipe, that is why I gave it only 2 stars. Meat in a microwave is awful (my opinion only) I then tried it in the crock pot. It was good but ibecame much to soupy even tho I cut back on the wet ingredients. The epiphany came when I did it on the stove top. It was perfection.

I don't see any mention of the parsley in the instructions. Where does it get added?

I did these in a skillet; browned the chops & onions, poured sauce over them; simmered for 45 minutes...super tender and yummy!

GREAT RECIPE, I DOUBLED UP ON THE AMOUNT OF A-1 , AND USED ITALIAN SEASONING IN PLACE OF SAGE AND PARSLEY , DUE TO NOT HAVING EITHER ONE , GREAT , WHOLE FAMILY LOVED IT , WILL DEFINATLEY BE FIXING THIS AGAIN , I BAKED IT IN THE OVEN ON 350" FOR 1 12 HOURS , GREAT .....

Cover and bake in 350 degree oven , 30-40 min until chops are done.
