Patio Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 6 to 8 rib chops, 1/2" thick
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 tsps ginger
- 1 cup ginger ale
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 pkg (10 oz.) frozen baby lima beans
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup diced pimento
- 3 Tbsp shortening
- 1 can (8 oz.) baby onions
Instructions
Combine seasonings and rub on chops. Brown chops in hot fat. Combine bouillon cubes and ginger ale and pour over chops. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Cook beans just until barely tender. Drain. Combine beans, pimento, and onions in 9 X 13 baking dish. Arrange chops on mixture and pour brown sauce from skillet over all. Cover with foil and bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
