    Portuguese Caldo Verde

    Ingredients

    • 750 gr peeled potatoes
    • 250 gr green cabbage slicced in pieces
    • 1 onion
    • 8 tablespoons Olive oil
    • salt as you wish

    Instructions

    In 2 litres of water boil the potatoes, onion and salt for about 30 minutes. Mix into puree soup. Add The Green Cabbage and the olive Oil. Let simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes until the green cabbage is cooked. You can add to this soup pieces of smoked pork sausage.
