"How to make freeze dried strawberries at home. Freeze drying is easy to do at home with a freezer dryer, but I also have directions for using a freezer or dry ice. The machine gives better results though. Freeze dried fruit lasts up to 25 years if stored properly. This is easy to do with about 15 minutes of prep, but drying takes about 10 hours to finish. Then package and store in a cool and dry location."
