Apricot Date Bread

This is not your average date bread recipe - it's better! The addition of pecans and apricots give it more depth and more flavor, and it's just right for an easy breakfast, snack, or any time!

Ingredients

  • 1 box date bread mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
     
  2. Combine date bread mix, water, and egg; mix thoroughly.
     
  3. Add pecans and apricots and blend well.
     
  4. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
     
  5. Bake at 350F degrees for 1 hour.
     
  6. Cool thoroughly in pan, then slice and serve. Yields 15-20 slices.
