Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes
"Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes will make you forget your childhood canned sauce memories and make you LOVE sloppy joes again. Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes came together pretty organically and randomly for us. We have had Philly Cheese Steak Grilled Cheese sandwiches in our rotation for years (because they are AMAZING) and one day we made up a skillet and…. our bread had become furry. So we had hamburger buns on hand from a hamburger night meal a couple of nights before. The changes I made were just enough to be extra gooey and “sloppy” and only took about a minute."

I remember Sloppy Joes being more like Chili on a bun, so I really love this Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes variation. The use of Provolone cheese and mushrooms, and the trace of ketchup and worcestershire sauce really add a great flavor. The kids love this for lunch with chips, and I love having the option to make it a pasta skillet dish for dinner.

These look absolutely splendid! I love both sloppy joes as well as Philly cheesesteaks, so a dish that combines elements of both is right up my alley. This looks really easy to toss together and is something that I want to try out when we're hungry for a traditional Philly cheesesteak. I also appreciate the variations the writer provides for making it a pasta skillet meal as well as giving a slow cooker variation.

Ohh these Sloppy Joes look amazing! I'm always down for adding a bit of cheese to a recipe.
