This Oven-Baked Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches look so good. One thing I learned from the author is this type of sandwich is best to prepared for people who want to have handheld food while doing something, maybe working or looking after the kids and still able to put something in their tummy. Very good idea. I will put that in mind. The beef bits with the green pepper are heavy enough for lunch or dinner and the cheese completed the "icing of the pudding". Beef with melted cheese. Oh so good. Can't wait to try this recipe.

On the weeknight evenings, things can get pretty hectic around here, and the last thing I want to do is spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Since the steak and veggie filling can be made ahead of time and frozen, this is ideal for making a lot of sandwiches at once! (or one at a time!) It takes even less time to throw together and toss into the oven than it would take to drive to your favorite deli / sandwich shop!
