Spicy Molcajete Salsa Verde With Tomatillos

"Spicy Molcajete salsa verde with tomatillos is a bright, tangy (and spicy) sauce. We use a traditional Mexican mortar and pestle called a molcajete to grind and mix the salsa and impart extra flavor. Tomatillos are used in this recipe, but green tomatoes can be substituted if you can't find tomatillos. We also grill all the vegetables prior to mixing them together, to add a smoky element to the dish. If you don't have a molcajete, you can use a blender!"
