Maple Cream Scones
These light and flaky scones are full of sweet maple flavor and topped with a cinnamon spice glaze. In our pumpkin spice-obsessed culture, it's nice to have other flavor options to turn to when you've had your fill. Try these Maple Cream Scones for something a little different and just as delicious. These scones make the perfect breakfast recipe to enjoy on a brisk fall morning or even as a mid-day snack with a cup of tea. Make these treats during the holidays and give them to friends -- these scones are extremely versatile and oh so tasty.

Yum! One of our local festivals has a bakery specializing in British baked goods, and maple scones are among their offerings. Since the festival is only once a year, it's become an infrequent treat until I discovered this recipe and now I can make them any time I want. These are incredibly yummy with a nice cup of tea and I'm looking forward to baking these.

I love that the ingredient list for these scones consists of things that I always have on hand in my refrigerator and pantry. No special flour required. Even if you don't like scones (then you gotta be crazy) it is worth checking out this recipe just for the cinnamon glaze alone - I could imagine a ton of uses for this stuff, whether it be cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, or even to top a fruit pizza.

We love scones and these look divine. The spices and the cream and, of course, the maple syrup so how could we go wrong. The recipe makes quite a lot so I am thinking you could also freeze half and glaze them after thawing. Going to makes these when we have company so I don't eat them all myself.

I love anything that is maple or maple cream! We visited Canada over the summer and my infatuation with maple began there. I've never made scones before and I always thought a special pan was needed though this one looks like it just requires a baking sheet? I am a gadget girl at heart though and would purchase a scone pan if that's such a thing. Does anyone have one to recommend? The maple cream icing on this recipe sounds divine!
