Nothing beats homemade cranberry sauce. It is so much nicer than canned I like that you can control the sugar content, within reason of course. You still want it to thicken. You also dont have to worry about added colour, flavour, or preservatives. This is a good recipe. I usually omit the orange rind. We prefer it without it.

I always loved my mom's cranberry sauce but thought it would be hard to make. This recipe is easy and definitely on my menu for Thanksgiving. I'm glad I found it in time to buy the ingredients and make it to serve this week. Cranberries are one of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes.
