We made this as a side dish for our barbecue this past weekend and it was very nice indeed! Baby potatoes were not available so we used sweet potato (which we already had) and also added some cauliflower florets. The seasoning combination is perfect, very very tasty and everyone commented on how nice the veg was.

I buy broccoli about 2-3 times a week. I am always searching for new recipes to prepare it and tried this one today. Since we do not have those little baby potatoes right now in this country, I simply used small potatoes and cut them into thick slices. It also worked out fine, but I had to increase the baking time by another 10 minutes because they were not tender after the recommended time. I liked up front the simplicity of the ingredients and the idea of baking it in a foil in the oven. It was quick to make and no pots and pans for clean-up afterwards. The medley of flavors was just perfect. And then the little bit of Parmesan afterwards rounded off the taste wonderfully.

These potatoes sound so tasty, and the best part is that they have broccoli in them. I have been looking for more recipes that included broccoli in a way that would make me want to eat it on a regular basis. I think this recipe might just do the trick.

When I read this recipe, I thought immediately of doing this for a cookout and putting the foil packets on the grill. We've done a batch of foil package grilling in the past, and this will be a great one to try this summer. Add a couple of steaks and some beer, and that's my personal idea of a heavenly summertime evening meal.

I can't wait to serve these to my friends and family on Memorial Day Monday! People are trying to eat more heathful foods, so they usually anticipate fatty burgers and nitrate laden mystery meat hot dogs at a bbq. But I'm going to offer the greek gourmey turkey burgers on this site with the luscious whipped feta sauce,http//www.recipelion.com/Grilling/Greek-Turk == ey-Burgers-with-Whipped-Feta, and these parm veg packets! I use real grated parm or parm/romano/asiago cheese.
