Another surprise twist to a bacon recipe. Bacon wrapped tater tots then dipped in brown sugar and chili powder mixture then baked. Wow. I haven't tried this recipe but just reading this makes my mouth crave for this unique appetizer. Can't wait to make them myself.

I love the sound of these tater tots wrapped in bacon. Now we don't get tater tots in South Africa but you could just as well wrap this bacon around a cocktail Vienna because I have to taste this bacon rolled in sugar and chili powder! Yum, it sounds divine.

My mouth is watering. So simple to make as well. My daughter in law loves bacon and I can't wait to make them for her. I would never have thought to use brown sugar and chili powder but it makes sense. Thank you.

These sound great. I really like the idea of using cheese in it too. I have wrapped bacon around smokies and jalapenos and shrimp and it is nice to have a helper. It takes time wrapping all of them up. These would make great party food. After all, who doesn't like bacon?

As as party foods go, I've made bacon wrapped cocktail sausages before, bbq bacon wrapped water chestnuts, and things like baked bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, but this one is completely new to me! You could serve these little guys as an appetizer, party snack, or even as a breakfast treat, since tater tots are sort of like mini hash browns. I might leave some without the chili powder for my son, and add cayenne to mine.

My family loves bacon. We always have it for breakfast. Problem is there are no tater tots available where I live. So I'll probably just use a substitute like fried potatoes or even fried sweet potatoes. Rolled in sugar and chili powder. Those are contrasting tastes that I have yet to try and savor in this Sweet Bacon Tater Tots.

These tater tots are so good. My hubby simply loves them. He has tried them with shredded cheese on them, too. He said next time we make them, he wants to try either putting gravy over them or use it as a dip. He has been using cool ranch for dip. I have blu-cheese with some sour cream added to it for mine. Well have to try them with eggs and toast for a dinner meal. We both enjoy breakfast for dinner once in a while. Does anyone else think this might work?

Oh, man. These look decadent. I think I could make a meal out of these, instead of just a snack...
