Trail Mix Rice Crispy Treats
"A rice crispy treat made with natural ingredients and loaded with trail mix favorites like chopped almonds, walnuts, dried cranberries and coconut. Brown rice syrup acts as the bonding agent, combined with butter and corn syrup free marshmallow creme to make these chewy and sweet after school treats. It's easy to prepare, coming together in 15 minutes, however they do need to sit at least 2 hours in order to set up and hold together before slicing them up."

Rice Krispie treats have always been a favorite of mine, and this is a really nicely enhanced version of them. I've read that brown rice syrup isn't all that a healthy alternative to regular corn syrup and I'm curious if it adds anything to the flavor. I like that other ingredients can be added or substituted and I think I'd definitely add some dark chocolate chips to the ingredients.
