Sourdough Bran Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 c expanded sourdough
- 1/4 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c sugar or honey (best with honey)
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 c buttermilk
- 1 c All Bran
- 1/2 c bran flakes
- about 2 T flour
Instructions
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in rest of stuff. Allow to sit one hour. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
