    Sourdough Bran Muffins

    Ingredients

    • 2 c expanded sourdough
    • 1/4 c shortening
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 c sugar or honey (best with honey)
    • 1 t salt
    • 1/4 c buttermilk
    • 1 c All Bran
    • 1/2 c bran flakes
    • about 2 T flour

    Instructions

    Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in rest of stuff. Allow to sit one hour. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
