I was a bit surprised when I first saw the photos and read the recipe since I was always under the impression that sangria was made with red wine. There was a restaurant next to where I went to college that served great pitchers of sangria. I didn't realize it could also be made with white wine. I'm not quite ready to make my own wine from a kit, but I certainly want to get a bottle of Pinot Grigio and try making this up
