My family will love this easy dessert. It's like a giant Reese's peanut butter cup! I don't have a double boiler do you think I can use my microwave instead? I'm looking for desserts for a graduation party, and I'm guessing most teenagers will love these bars.

I love easy to make and tasty treats using two of my favorite foods, chocolate and peanut butter. This recipe is no exception. It's very simple to assemble and I've had similar bars before, so I know they'll be very good. I've made something very similar before for my grandkids and they were devoured in record time. I'm sure they'll be equally delighted with this version. I think I might use chocolate graham crackers for the base next time I make a pan of these.

These are absolutely delicious. They totally help when I'm craving a peanut butter cup. I loved making this recipe. The instructions were clear. It was easy to make and so much easier to eat! I did use the microwave to melt the chocolate with the butter for the topping instead of a double broiler. It's just so much easier if you are careful.
