Seven Layer Squares
Seven Layer Squares contain seven layers of heaven. Chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and pecans fit together naturally, which makes these bars a delicious treat. Bring them to work to share with your coworkers or to a party to share with your friends. These seven layer bars are a real treat for practically everyone. Wherever you take them, you probably won't be taking any home (so enjoy them while they last!).
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Melt butter in the microwave and transfer to a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.

Sprinkle graham crumbs over the top of the melted butter. Sprinkle coconut over the graham cracker crumbs. Sprinkle crumbs with chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Cover chips with sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle milk layer with chopped pecans.

Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven to wire rack and allow to cool before cutting into squares.

I love bar cookie recipes. This contains so many wonderful ingredients, like pecans and chocolate chips. I would have trouble eating just one. My family has a lot of occasions coming up and chances for me to make some great desserts. This is going to be one of my potluck contributions.
