What's so great about this One Pot Old Fashioned Goulash is that the entire dish is made in one pot, so preparation and cleanup are a cinch. With ground beef, bell pepper, tomatoes, peas and more, this classic goulash recipe is even better than the comforting dish you grew up with. You put peas in your goulash? I don't think my mom, grandma, or mother-in-law ever used peas in their recipes, but it sounds really good. I like peas a lot, so this fits in perfect with my tastes. I am going to have to try this version out and see if I like it as much as I think I am going to like it.

Comfort food is always popular with families. This recipe is not only easy to prepare, but it will have dinner ready in practically no time. When making this dish, I would use lean ground beef, and omit the olive oil. After browning the meat, I would drain it before adding the other ingredients. When cooking the macaroni, make sure not too overcook it, so that it will have a good consistency. Before serving this meal, it is important to remove both bay leaves from the pan because they are inedible.

I love recipes that can be made in one pot, such as this goulash. To change this recipe just a bit would be to not include the macaroni but serve this over boiled potatoes or steamed rice. Still simple to make, but delicious as well. Even including potatoes in the goulash instead of the pasta would be awesome.
