This recipe sounds very tasty. Can I use some other soup besides cream of mushroom? I am allergic, so I have to use something like cream of chicken or cream of celery in place of it. I bet Ritz crackers go so well in this poor man's steak dish because of the buttery flavor.

I've used this recipe many times, but press the mixture into a 9x9" pyrex glass casserole dish. I refrigerate it for at least 2 hrs, fry it, return it to the pan and bake it. Delish. :)
