The two best parts about fall in one loaf? Yes, please! Since the recipe calls for a small amount of buttermilk, you can always substitute with regular milk and add an acid like lemon juice. This creates the same PH as buttermilk! (Fun little baking tip, especially since I know most households don't consistently have buttermilk in them.)
