Banana Bread French Toast
Nothing beats warm banana bread recipes fresh from the oven. Ingredients
- 12 1-inch thick slices of banana bread, either store bought or homemade
- 4 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions

In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Set side.

Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium low heat. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

When the butter is melted add 4 slices of banana bread that have been dipped into the egg mixture. Cook about 1 1/2 minutes per side until they are golden brown on both sides.

Transfer to a platter and keep warm in a low heat oven as you repeat with the remaining banana bread slices.
