I always want to eat and serve a hearty and nutritious breakfast, but often run out of time - especially for steel cut oats which take longer than regular oatmeal. I love the idea of waking up to this delicious and hearty breakfast! I don't have cinnamon sticks, but would just sprinkle in some cinnamon instead. There's no end to the variations you could make with this recipe - you could add in dried apples and walnuts, pear and ginger, dried cranberries and pecans - the possibilities are endless! Yummy!
