Stuffed French Toast
Ingredients
- 2 thick sliced sourdough bread
- 2 ounces softened cream cheese
- 3 ounces orange marmalade
- 1 ounce cinnamon
- 1/2 ounce ground clove
- 4 eggs
- 2 ounces milk
- 1 ounce vanilla extract
- 2 ounces butter for cooking french toast
Instructions
Spread cream cheese and orange marmalade on both pieces of bread. Close them together to make a sandwich. Mix all the other ingredient together to make a batter. Dip french toast sandwich into batter to soak through. Add butter to heavy bottom pan and cook at medium heat until golden brown. Place in oven to finish cooking for about 5 minutes.
