I am getting so fed up of cereal and toast so I am on the hunt for something different to make as a change for some mornings! I would of never thought of making a breakfast in a slow cooker let along putting eggs into the slow cooker, I am intruded by this recipe, do the eggs stick or come up ok?

I've been watching for strata type recipes for the upcoming holiday season's breakfasts. This seems like the best of all possible worlds -- a make ahead that you cook overnight in the crockpot! The peppers make it colorful, but I'm wondering if some spinach would give it a bit more nutrition. When I make this, I'll use a spicy Italian sausage, chorizo, or I'll add some crushed red peppers. I think it will need that to kick up the flavor. By the way, the photo is great!
