Amish Cabbage Hot Pot

Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked chicken
- 8 cups shredded cabbage
- 4 potatoes cut into 1/2" slices
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 2/3 cup chicken bouillon
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions

Put all ingredients in a Dutch oven. Cover and cook 1 hour on low heat on stove or in 350 degrees F oven.
- Uncover and cook 40 minutes more or until potatoes and carrots are tender.

I use at least 2 heads of cabbage a week....I haven't tried thism but I can see it might be bland! Use FRESH chicken for flavor, add a few tomatoes and garlic........then let me know!! Cabbage is a gr8 weight loss veggie, and there are so many recipes, like "lazy Pig's n blankets",,,,,,,,,,,,for this very versatile and cheap food!!

It was okay, not wonderful, but filling. I enjoyed it because it used the cabbage and chicken I needed to use.
