Don't you just love cool. no bake desserts in the summertime. This Creamy Dreamy Vanilla Pudding Cake is perfect anytime, but especially on a hot Summer's day when you want to serve your family a special sweet treat. It is so easy to make, and can be put together in no time at all. I don't know if it is actually a "cake", but it is certainly "Pudding with a Punch". I have also made this with chocolate Oreos and chocolate pudding, turned out great.

It's amazing to me the cake recipes that I've been seeing lately and all look just as delicious as the other. Never would I have imagined making a cake without an actual cake involved, but my eyes have been opened and now I see the world of cake has been turned into a decadent wonderland of so many different indulgences...the possibilities are endless. Oreo's and vanilla pudding to create a cake...count me in!

this dessert should be called "everything that contains sugar"! I'm sure it's really good, though. It is a bit confusing without exact measurements and sizes of packages, but I think you would use the whole standard size packages of Oreos, as much Cool Whip as you like, and as much chocolate chips as you like. It's going to turn out good, no matter what!

If you just read the recipe without watching the video, you would buy chocolate chips instead of white chocolate chips. The recipe list does not specify white chocolate chips. I don't like marshmallows. I think coconut makes a great substitute for the marshmallows. If you can't find golden Oreos, any yellow sandwich cookie would be good. Great make ahead dessert!

Thanks for pointing out the white chocolate chips thing! That was confusing if you didn't watch the video. We've updated the recipe accordingly.
