This is a seriously indulgent chocolate cake. I'm a bit of a chocolate fanatic and this is the stuff (well, cake) dreams are made of. The chocolate chip cookie layer is a stroke of genius and really is a nice surprise when you cut into the cake. Instead of cookie crumbs, I'd sprinkle some chopped nuts (walnut or peanut) on the top before serving. A bit of ice cream would be the perfect addition.
