What a fun little recipe! I love the Fourth of July theme, but with a few minor adjustments, this would be great for other holidays as well. I can see making something like this for Christmas using red and green MMs. I think I'd also add a little bit of almond extract to the cookie batter since I like a hint of almond when I'm making a sugar cookie, plus it goes great with the chocolate in the MMs.

I love everything red, white, and blue! My son has friends over every 4th of July and I always try to find a unique dessert to make. I'm so happy I found this ahead of time. I love the red, white, and blue MM's. This will be a hit for sure!
