I like a good sponge cake. The recipe calls for a pound cake pan. I have never heard of one. I have only ever baked a pound cake in a loaf pan. A 8 x 4 or 9 x 5 size loaf pan should work just fine. In my opinion, sponge cakes pair really well with fruit.
