Creamy desserts have never really been a favorite of mine but this does sound pretty decadent...it would be a shame not to give it a go except maybe make up some extra crusts and crumble them up. Then take some chopped almonds and coconut, combine them with the cookie crust and put the mixture in between the creamy layers to give it a trifle effect. Giving it a take on an Almond Joy...and there's nothing wrong with that in my world!

Yum! This is sort of like sex in a pan without quite so many layers. I love creamy desserts. I could eat them and eat them. You could change it up by using different pudding flavors. For me, the cream cheese layer is what makes it so good. Try it. You will love it.

I love anything with cream cheese in it, but you add chocolate pudding and I am in pure heaven. This blissful dessert looks like something I would devour. I am sure that the kids would love to have this after a scrumptious dinner one night too. Thanks for posting such a decadent dessert!

Now this is a cake I would stay overnight to see! Oh but the cool-whip and Cream! I will eat this cake again..

This was a sloppy, creamy mess. I didn't use all the cool whip, but it was still too much. The whole thing just collapsed in a puddle. A tasty puddle, according to the kids, but a puddle nonetheless.

OMG! This is possibly the most decadent cake I've ever tried. One slice is definitely enough to satisfy )

Upon trying this cake, I was overwhelmed by whip cream and pudding... and that's a good thing! It's a great dessert for making in advance. No baking the day of any meal you'd be bringing it to, which is super helpful!!

I didn't know there was a way to make pudding taste even better...now I do! That cream cheese really does the trick. I also LOVED the little bit of crunch from the crust. It was a great balance with the creamy layer!

Gotta say, the crust was my favorite part. If you add some chocolate chips and toffee on top, you could go into a full-on sugar coma. :)

I really enjoyed the crust of this cake. It was very solid and didn't crumble into bits when I cut my fork into it.

WOW! What a rich dessert. The crust tasted like a shortbread cookie. It was super creamy, so next time I might do two layers of the chocolate pudding and decrease the amount of Cool Whip.

Yum! I like how light and fluffy this was. You could add a layer of crushed up candy canes to make it a Christmas cake.

This cake was unbelievable! What a treat. I loved the creamy texture of the whipped cream and pudding. And the crust was absolutely perfect - crunchy and sweet. YUM!

So much did I like the crust portion of this recipe, I'd double that portion and add a layer of it right in the middle. The contrast of the buttery crunch with the creaminess of the pudding and whip is delightful.

This was delicious! I think I would have liked a greater pudding to whip ratio, but otherwise it was quite good.

Can I have a picture of this cake?
