Strawberry Shortcake in a Jar
If you're in search of strawberry shortcake for a crowd or a simple no-bake option, this is the recipe for you.
Make strawberry shortcake in a jar in minutes with this simple, sweet recipe. Ideal for any party, this tasty treat fits in the palm of your hand. Rather than spending hours in the kitchen baking a cake and slicing your strawberries, this itty bitty option only uses three ingridients to make an insanely tasty, no-bake treat. We put our mason jar shortcake recipes in small canning jars, but you could easily make a bigger version in a full mason jar or minify it in baby food jars.
From the Chef: This reminds me of a tea cake that would fit in a secret garden in a childhood story. Like in any fairy tale, if you look closely, you'll find something new every time. On this little jar is an etched strawberry, right smack in the middle but easy to miss upon first glance. It is as tiny as it looks and the cutest treat for those who believe.

How cute is this! I love everything about the ingredients in this recipe but I'm thinking maybe breaking up the vanilla wafers, crushing or dicing the strawberries smaller and incorporating them into the whipped cream...then layering them into the most adorable jar you can find like the one in the video here and garnish with even more whipped cream and strawberries. Yum!

Wow what an easy recipe. I will most definitely be making this. What a great idea to serve it in a jar. I love that! It is such a novel idea. It gave me an idea that we could make this for entrepreneur's day at my kids' school. I'm sure we could turn a profit!
