    Maple Butterscotch

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 2/3 cup maple syrup
    • 1/3 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup water

    Instructions

    Bring to a boil and cook without stirring until a drop in cold water separates into pliable threads. (285 degrees F). Turn into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Mark into squares while still soft. Break when cold.
