Easy Turkey Tetrazzini Casserole
A classic dish that has been a favorite for ages, Easy Turkey Tetrazzini Casserole is a creamy delight that the family will love. Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons your favorite white wine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 pound spaghetti, broken, cooked & drained
- 2 to 3 cups of cooked turkey or chicken
- For the Topping:
- 1 1/2 cup panko
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In frying pan, melt butter. Add sliced mushrooms & chopped onion. Saute until veggies are soft and liquid is gone.

Stir in the flour.

Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring as it thickens.

Stir in the heavy cream, wine, salt, pepper & parmesan. Let it gently simmer for 1 minute then remove from heat.

Place half the cooked & drained spaghetti in bottom of prepared casserole dish.

Add half the meat. Add half the mushroom sauce.

Repeat layers of spaghetti, turkey and sauce.

In small bowl, combine bread crumbs and 1/3 c. parmesan. Stir in to incorporate.

Add melted butter & stir to coat panko & parmesan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes, or until topping turns golden brown.
