Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 8 cups chopped cabbage (about 1 head 6 inches across)
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly spray an 8x12-inch bake dish with cooking spray.

Add vegetable oil to a large skillet over medium high heat. When it's hot, add the onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and caraway seeds and continue to cook and stir for 2 more minutes.

Add the turkey and cook until no longer pink, breaking up clumps of meat with the back of a spoon. Add the cabbage and cook, stirring, until cabbage is translucent, about 4 minutes.

Turn off heat, add the cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper, and stir to combine evenly. Pour into the prepared bake dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
