We made 2 changes right at the start, a can of tomatoes instead of tomato soup and made our own mushroom sauce instead of mushroom soup. To me, tinned soup used as a sauce always tastes like tinned soup so I never use it. Otherwise the dish was great and the family loved it which, after all, is always the most important thing.

I see the note that the soups are cream soups. Are they condensed cream soups? From the size I am guessing so. Soups added to recipes already seem to stretch things out so it serves more. Very frugal idea. Pasta is always tasty, I could eat it all the time.
