Baked Chicken Tenders Recipe

NotesChicken tenders develop a deeper flavor when marinating them in egg. But, if you don’t have time, you can skip this step. Cover and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour. You may add dried basil, dried oregano, sage, thyme, or tarragon to the spice mixture.

Ingredients
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 ounce parsley
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 22 ounces chicken tenders
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup regular breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup grated parmesan
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

Lightly grease a baking sheet with melted butter. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, oil, lemon juice, parsley, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

Dip chicken tenders into the egg mixture and let sit for 5 minutes.

In another bowl, combine both breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and parmesan cheese.

Dredge the egg coated chicken in the breadcrumb/parmesan mixture.

Lightly press chicken in crumbs to evenly coat.

Arrange tenders on the baking sheet.

And lightly brush with the remaining melted butter.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Flip and bake for 10 minutes more.
