Crescent rolls and chicken is such a great combination. I love that the added cream cheese give these a different twist than just shredded cheese. I was expecting just chicken mixed with a cheddar center. I was pleasantly surprised. These are a wonderful addition to anyone's plate. They look lovely and taste delicious. You can't ask for more than that!

Looks Yummy

These are delicious! What a clever use of the refrigerated crescent rolls. I added some crumbled bacon to the chicken and cheese mixture and we enjoyed that little addition. Next time, I might try adding a little bit of cheddar cheese to the mixture and see how that turns out. Do make sure the seam joining the two crescent rolls is secure. We had a little leakage on one of the first ones I made. I like this one a lot!

Chicken pillows sounds like a must have. I had to look up the recipe to see how they were made. They look delicious. I would definitely like to try them. I am sure I could only eat one though! I like the fact that they are baked in the oven and not fried.

I'm intrigued by these Chicken Pillows. Found out they are rolls stuffed with the ingredients mentioned in the recipe. They look good, so filling and nutritious. The kids will definitely like it. I'm not just sure how the gravy tastes but I have another idea in mind. Thank you.

This recipe is so clever I absolutely could not resist making it. It's like a cross between a chicken pot pie and a chicken croquette. The filling is rich and creamy packed into a delicious buttery crust and coated with bread crumbs. I love that it is baked, and not fried, and then covered with a delicious gravy. This is the perfect week nigh, easy to prepare dinner.

Looks like I'm making chicken pillows this week! They look amazing and I'm desperate for a new recipe. The gravy looks interesting. The recipe didn't say how many pillows this makes but I'm thinking 4 for each tube of dough? The filling sounds amazing and I think my kids will all go for this one. Thanks for a great looking recipe to try.

Prairie Hen & Cheese Skillet

My daughter made these last weekend and they were great! Definitely a do-over! She used panko bread crumbs and they came out of the oven crunchy. Very good!

These were definitely time consuming. It was also hard to bread them and not have them fall apart or stick to my hands. When I was finished mine looked nothing like the picture. All that said they tasted awesome! All five of my family loved them. I will most assuredly be making these again.

Site is down. Cannot get the recipe. :(

I made these the other night and they were great. My only problem was the pockets stretched so big( 6x6" ) so I could only make 2 and I have enough filling left for 2 more when I get the rolls. We had the other one the next night and they were even better.Next time I will not put the 2 dough sections together so they will be smaller.

Hi Cristy - anybody? Can't eat the cheese & sour cream. Any suggestions on what I can stuff in the middle that won't ooze out? Spinach? Mustrooms? Mixed with what? How? Thanks, Judy

I made these last night. My family raved about them. They were a bit time consuming because I did not have the chicken ready ahead of time. It was well worth it though. Thanks for the great new dinner.
