Dump-and-Bake Chicken Pesto Pasta
"There’s no need to boil the pasta or pre-cook the chicken! With this Dump-and-Bake Chicken Pesto Pasta, you just stir together the ingredients and let the oven do the rest of the work. It’s an easy dinner that comes together with just 10 minutes of prep! When I say “dump-and-bake,” I truly mean it. This isn’t your average casserole that requires boiling the pasta first, browning the chicken first, or whisking a sauce from scratch. Nope, I don’t have time for that…and I’m guessing that you don’t either!"
NotesCooking Just for Two? Cut the ingredients in half and prepare the pasta in a 1-quart baking dish. Baking instructions remain the same.

Right now it is mid summer and my basil plants are like huge bushes, and the leaves are about as sweet as candy! I have been making a big jar of fresh pesto sauce weekly, and have been looking for new and creative ways to use it. This recipe looks like it really fits the bill. Thanks!

I often don't have time to cook when I come home from a long day at work but feel like a heartwarming, yummy meal and have the family to feed. This is a great idea for those days and whilst the chicken is baking in the oven it gives you a bit of time to get on with other things. I am keen to try the chicken pesto combination.
